BENGALURU: Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation will soon issue pre-printed and smart card passes to primary, high school and college students. The pre-printed passes will be issued from June 12 and smart cards from June 17.
Students who have availed pre-printed passes have to switch over to smart cards compulsorily between August 1 and September 30 at BMTC Smart card issuing counters.
BMTC will issue passes from 6.30 am to 9 pm at major bus stations including Kempegowda Bus station, Banashankari TTMC,Jayanagar TTMC, Shivaji Nagar Bus station, Yashwanthpur TTMC, Vijayanagar TTMC, Kengeri TTMC amd Kalyananagara Bus station. Beside, these passes will be issued at 35 pass counters spread across the city.
