Four-member gang robs techie in Bengaluru

A gang of four men abducted and robbed a 22-year-old techie near Bagmane Tech Park in C V Raman Nagar on the pretext of offering to drop him home on Friday.

BENGALURU:  A gang of four men abducted and robbed a 22-year-old techie near Bagmane Tech Park in C V Raman Nagar on the pretext of offering to drop him home on Friday. 

The victim has been identified as Vishnu, a resident of Mahadevapura. Police said the incident took place around 10.30 pm when four men, who came in a car, offered Vishnu to drop him home.

On the way, one of the accused stabbed his hands and forced him to hand over valuables. They also snatched his debit cards and forced him to withdraw Rs 10,000 cash. Later, they drove towards Hosur Road and pushed him out at Hebbagodi in the early hours.
