BENGALURU: A gang of three men allegedly threatened a realtor over a financial dispute in HAL on Saturday. The complainant, also a businessman, approached the police on Sunday and filed a case against two businessmen and their gunman.
Karthik Reddy, the complainant, told police that the gunman had held a gun at his head and when he pushed him the gun had misfired.
Karthik (38), a resident of Mahadevapura, alleged that he was returning home from his office in his car on Saturday evening. When he was passing ISRO Gate, one Amruth Reddy, Nishwant Reddy and their gunman stopped his car and barged into it.
Nishwant had a dispute with Karthik over a business and both started abusing each other. In the melee, the gunman aimed a revolver at Karthik’s head and threatened that he would finish him. A scared Karthik pushed gunman away and tried to get out of the spot. Meanwhile a bullet misfired in the air and accused fled the scene.
Based on the complaint, police are looking out for the accused and a special team has been formed.
