Inquiry into extra marks cards soon

The state medical education department will conduct an inquiry into the issue of extra marks cards printed by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) Bengaluru.

BENGALURU: The state medical education department will conduct an inquiry into the issue of extra marks cards printed by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) Bengaluru.
Based on an objection raised in the audit report, Express published a report on RGUHS printing on elakh extra marks cards during 2012-13 and stashing them in a godown.
This issue was taken up by the letters committee constituted by the Legislative Assembly that met on March 7.

At the meeting the committee raised the issue, following which the medical education department ordered an inquiry.
Speaking to Express, official sources from the medical education department said,  “We have not issued an official order on inquiry, but we have orally instructed university authorities to constitute a committee for the inquiry.”
