Boy sexually abuses minor in city school

Another incident of sexual abuse against a minor has come to light on Thursday.

BENGALURU: Another incident of sexual abuse against a minor has come to light on Thursday. This comes after two incidents of sexual crimes against minors were reported in New Delhi and Bengaluru. A senior police official said that on August 31, a 13-year-old boy of Class 7 allegedly sexually abused a 9-year-old girl of class 4. Both are students of the same school in West Bengaluru. A medical report of the incident confirmed that girl was sexually assaulted and the boy has been sent to a shelter home. A case has been registered under POCSO Act.

Following Wednesday’s incident of a four-year-old girl being sexually assaulted allegedly by a guard in a school toilet at T Dasarahalli, Congress MLC V S Ugrappa said that the victim had identified the accused.
