BENGALURU: Children from a school run by the ‘Association for the Mentally Challenged’ released a book of previously unpublished speeches and articles by Sir M Visvesvaraya to mark his 156th birth anniversary at the Century Club on Saturday.

This book was conceptualised and curated by Maya Chandra with support of the Century Club which is also celebrating hundred years of its existence.

Century Club president S P Rakshit announced that money raised from the sale of this book would be donated to the Association for Mentally Challenged.

Former president of the club K Jairaj recalled that the club had been founded by Sir M Visvesvaraya because there had been no entry for Indians in other book clubs in 1917.
