BENGALURU: A 25-year-old woman allegedly killed her husband at their residence in Muneshwara Block in Girinagar on Thursday. The deceased is Kumar T (27), an auto driver. His wife Nalini has been arrested. A senior police officer said, "On Wednesday night, Nalini allegedly strangled Kumar when he was asleep. She later hung him from the ceiling.
Next morning she alerted the neighbours and told them that he killed himself in an inebriated state. Police rushed to the spot and found injury marks on Kumar's neck and took Nalini into custody. During interrogation, Nalini confessed that she was upset over constantly being harassed by Kumar and hence decided to kill him."We are investigating the case to ascertain if Nalini took help from any other person to kill Kumar," the officer added.
