BENGALURU:  The Karnataka High Court on Tuesday directed the Baldwin schools to resolve the issues raised by parents before the next hearing scheduled to be held on July 30. Speaking after the hearing, one of the parents who have filed a case before the court said, “Despite several requests to Baldwin Schools management to sort out the issues, they turned a deaf ear towards us. Now, the court has given a deadline for the management to solve the problems.

The management continued with Xseed books and was not following the ICSE syllabus. Kids are forced to study 16 books for four subjects, and in spite of directions from the state government and the child rights commission, the school has not bothered about it.”

“Even on July 21st, we tried to meet the Chairman to discuss these issues, but in vain. We hope they will redress our grievances now,” the parent added. A group of parents had earlier staged series of protests against the school forcing them to buy textbooks from a prescribed vendor and the exorbitant fee.
