Cop suspended for stalking in Bengaluru

A police constable from the Girinagar police station has been suspended after a dentist filed a complaint accusing him of stalking and harassing her. 

BENGALURU:  A police constable from the Girinagar police station has been suspended after a dentist filed a complaint accusing him of stalking and harassing her. A 39-year-old dentist filed a complaint against Sudarshan Aski,the accused constable, with the Jnanabharathi police. She stated in her complaint that back in 2013 the accused had come in for a treatment to her dental clinic in Hosakerehalli.

He used to contact regarding his treatment. After a while, he allegedly started calling her unnecessarily and spoke vulgarly with her. When she stopped responding to his calls, he allegedly went to her clinic and started threatening her.

“Due to his harassment, I had to shift my clinic. But he started coming to the new clinic as well and threatened to shoot me and my family members if I didn’t respond to his calls,” she stated in her second complaint filed on October 16.Following her complaint, the police registered an FIR against him on charges of stalking and criminal intimidation.
