BENGALURU: Australia has been announced as the official Country Partner for the Bengaluru Tech Summit (BTS) 2024, which will be held from November 19 to 21 at the Bengaluru Palace. The collaboration aims to highlight Australia’s focus on technological cooperation with India and other global players. This year, BTS is expected to draw delegations from more than 15 nations, including the UK, France, Austria, Denmark, Finland, Japan, Switzerland, Israel, and the US.
These delegations, featuring government officials and industry leaders, will participate in high-level discussions and collaborative opportunities.
The inaugural ceremony will feature key international voices, including Dr Anna Christmann, Commissioner for Startups and the Digital Economy from Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, and Alexandra Dublanche, Vice-President for Recovery, Economic Development, Attractiveness, and Innovation for the Paris Region, France. A strong diplomatic presence is expected, with five ambassadors and 16 consuls general attending.
A key highlight of the inaugural ceremony will be the signing of two MoUs — one with Switzerland and the other with Finland — along with a Letter of Intent with the Sharjah Innovation Authority (UAE), a release stated.
The summit will also feature the India-USA Tech Conclave, curated by USIBC and AMCHAM, with sessions focusing on AI’s impact in agriculture, logistics, space, and education, as well as cybersecurity and transformations in GCCs and GVCs. Other GIA partner countries will present sessions on various themes, including Switzerland on innovation, the UAE on scaling beyond borders, Singapore on med-tech, Germany on clean mobility, and Japan on co-creating digital solutions.
The International Exhibition Pavilion will host over 70 exhibitors showcasing groundbreaking technologies. Additionally, the event will include B2B, B2G, and G2G meetings, along with strategic roundtables, to foster global collaborations.
