HAVE you heard of the mythical tree that fulfils everyone’s wishes? Kalpadruma, Kalpataru or Kalpaka Vriksha - they call it. The tree is not anywhere else in reality but it is one’s own mind. The mind is that tree.
Whatever one wants, the mind can give. The mind is nothing but pure energy that needs to be harnessed and put to use. But there is a process to the asking. Whether one wants money, good health, a happy relationship, a job or success in one’s business - the mind can give it all, provide the conditions for asking are fulfilled. What are the conditions?
Clarity is the first step to asking. If the mind is crowded by a thousand thoughts, the energy to focus on a single thing that one wants is lost. Is there a way to have this clarity? Meditation is the answer. A recent study shows that by the year 2012, meditation will be the only way to manage one’s life with perfect balance. The chaos that surrounds us is usually self-inflicted and this can only be dealt with the awareness originating through meditation.
Kalpa Taru is a day-long meditation programme conducted by Paramahamsa Nithyananda, founder of the Nithyananda Dhyana Peetam. Meditation is all about creating a sense of awareness which invariably leads to healing the mind, body and soul, he says. Inner bliss is nothing but a state of heightened awareness of the reasons for our fear, joy, sorrow or love.
“A young girl was suffering with high diabetes during her pregnancy. She used to take insulin injection everyday. With healing energy from Paramahamsa, her sugar level dropped and she stopped taking insulin,” Dr. Nirmala, a participant says.
The Kalpataru meditation programme is happening in Chennai on February 14 and 15 at the Mutha Venkata Subbarao Concert Hall, No. 7, Harrington Road from 7 a.m. to 9.30 p.m. Kalpataru sows in you the seeds of Shakti, Buddhi, Yukthi and Mukti, to accept and create changes in life.
