Four students travelling on thefootboard of a Tamil Nadu government bus were killed when theyfell down from the vehicle after it was hit by a lorry today.
Three other students, who were also travelling on thefootboard of the bus, sustained injuries in the mishap, whichoccurred at IT Corridor, police said.
The victims were students of a polytechnic, policesaid.
The bus was on its way to Chennai from nearbyTiruporur.
