Raja Sir Annamalai Chettiar Memorial trust will be celebrating the birthday of Kumararajah M A M Muthaiah Chettiar of Chettinad this year by awarding a sum of Rs 2 lakh to the best institution serving for the welfare of the destitute and orphaned children. A committee consisting of eminent personalities will be selecting the institution that is to receive the award.
The Trust requires the institutions to send in the particulars of their working and a copy of their audited statement of accounts for the year ended March 31, 2013, along with a copy of the date of registration of the institution.

The celebration will take place at Rani Seethai hall on September 6.
