Unravelling the science behind Amman in temples, a writer from Chennai has come out with a book titled ‘Tamil Amman’. The 594-page book was released here recently.
Speaking on the sidelines of the book launch, its author Irudhiyil Inbaththan said Amman is an energy of living things. “Amman has been structured with a combination of Physics, which includes theory of relativity and energy theory,” he stated.
Stressing that god manifests in a female as 16 beauties, he said, if any woman possess these 16 beauties she is Amman. The beauties include love, affection, and philanthropy, he added.
Inbaththan said that he had put down all his observations in the book, after doing research for eight years. He had visited 70 Shiva temples for the purpose, he claimed.
The author further discloses that the book is an attempt to revive the ancient Tamil science.
Jegath Gaspar Raj, founder of Naam, said what inspired him about the book was spirituality based on Tamil cosmology, which is based on the Ainthu Thinaigal — Kurunji, Mullai, Marutham, Neithal and Palai — the land of five types in olden Tamil kingdom.
