Ramky Enviro Engineers Ltd conducted a mass cleaning awareness programme at the Koyambedu Market Complex here in the city recently.
The awareness programme was held in association with the Market Management Committee and the students of Aarupadai Veedu Institute of Technology (AVIT), of Vinakaya Missions University.
Banners and pamphlets containing information and slogans regarding environment, hygiene and cleanliness, prepared by Ramky Agencies, were distributed among the vendors and public.
The pamphlets helped create mass awareness for the environmental cause.
The efforts taken by the three different groups to make the place clean were appreciated by the public. Udhayakumar, Chief Administrative Officer, Market Management Committee, stated that this awareness programme on cleanliness will continue at regular intervals in the future for a green Koyambedu.
