Central Cottage Industries Corporation of India is organising an exhibition called Home Décor from July 24 to August 2 at Temple Tower, Nandanam.

This is being done to provide a common platform for Indian craftsmen to exhibit their talent. The exhibition cum-sale includes an exquisite collection of furniture and carpets. While the furniture collection is said to include rocking, picnic and jute chairs, and side tables, telephone table and curio tables among others, the carpets exhibited will range from silk to hand-knitted ones, with unique geometrical and Persian designs.

Woodcraft items, pottery and stoneware in the form of tea sets, bowls and plates will be a part of the collection, apart from decorative gift items like pen holders, boxes and bowls.

A special discount of 10 per cent will also be offered on furniture and carpets.
