The two-day inter departmental cultural fiesta of Sri Kanyaka Parameshwari Arts and Science college, Esha 2013, began on Wednesday with lot of creative off-stage and on-stage events.

The events have been specially introduced this year to bring out the best of talents from the students.

In their 12th year of celebrations, the students, along with the staff, concentrated on making different things.

Events like Palm painting, soap carving and party wear were introduced as a part of the off stage events that were conducted on the first day.

The event party wear was specially designed by using academic expertise in fashion designing and beauty courses.

The participants were judged on their creativity which they implemented in their styling.

“We have been conducting  many events all these years, but they were very common. So, this time, we were determined to add some flavor to the already existing events. The staff members along with the students’ cultural team, came up with these events which will improve our creativity. We also saw a lot of people participating this time,” said Sujatha, a staff member.

Kalalaya, the cultural team of the college, organised on-stage events like imitation and solo-cum-group singing, this year.
