The 27th Triennial Conference of the Associated Country Women of the World (ACWW), an organisation headquartered in London. will be held between September 26 and October 2 here at the Chennai Trade Centre.
The conference will be hosted by members of the Society of DMI that is involved in socio developmental and educational activities for the poor and underprivileged. The conference will see participation from over 200 delegates from Indian NGOs apart from 600 delegates from abroad.
The meet will discuss options of empowering women and give exposure to Tamil culture, apart from exploring various programmes for children and women and issues like health and sanitation.
