Making a Clean Sweep

CHENNAI: As a part of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity, city-based Firm Foundations and Housing, in association with Firm Hospitals organised a mass cleaning drive at Q block and R block in Anna Nagar. Headed by C Kasturi Raj, chairman of Firm Foundations and Housing and Dr Malaraj, managing director of Firm Hospitals, the garbage was cleared in and around 15 streets of the area, besides removing stagnant water off the potholes on the road. More than 200 employees and the management staff took part in the initiative. Cleaning disinfectants were sprayed on the roads and pamphlets were distributed to the residents to create awareness for maintaining their environment.
