Tamilisai Snub to Swamy, Raja on Vaiko

CHENNAI: A day after BJP leader Subramanian Swamy threatened to take steps to ban the MDMK, State President Tamilisai Soundararajan on Tuesday stepped in to keep the saffron coalition intact, asserting that she alone had the authority to speak on alliance leaders and dismissing the comments of her colleagues as individual opinion.

Urging MDMK leader Vaiko to continue in the BJP alliance, she said her views alone should be taken as the party line. The remarks of party national secretary H Raja could be his own opinion, she said.
