Navy Week Celebrated 'At Home'

CHENNAI: As part of Navy Week celebrations recently, Commodore Amar K Mahadevan, Naval Officer in Charge (Tamil Nadu and Puducherry) hosted the ‘At Home’ function at the Navy House. Governor K Rosaiah, who was the chief guest of the occasion, released the Maritime Ships stamps calendar, 2015. The Prince of Arcot, senior officers from three Defence Services, Coast Guard, officials from Central and State Government and retired naval officers, among other dignitaries, graced the occasion. The ‘Sunset Ceremony’ was also carried out in true naval tradition.
