CHENNAI: Foodies in the city can now savour a variety of flavours from an array of food items, as at the Forum Chennai Food Festival, people are exposed to a platter of various mouth watering dishes. The food festival offers all the dishes from each counter at the food court of the mall in Vadapalani, at a much lower rate.
From most of the items priced between `49 and `99, one can opt for combos of pudding, mayo chicken and many other items. While Arab Kitchen has Mayo chicken, Omani Majboosh, Labnani Kubbus and others, Dhishoom plates up Chicken Samosas, Paneer and Aloo tak-a-tak. Other restaurants which have joined in the food fest are ID, Kailash Parbat, Kobe Sizzlers, Pandikadai, Wangs Kitchen and Quiznos.
As one tastes the Chocolate Brownie Sizzler from Kobe Sizzler, Chicken Samosa from Dhishoom, the chaat platter from Kailash Parbat and Banana Dosa from ID, it will dawn upon them that the food fest is surely one to be part of.
Apart from the food fest, the organisers have also arranged for cooking demonstrations with a chef from each restaurant during weekends, exposing shoppers and foodies alike to a wide range of culinary options.
The organisers have also made space for a fusion music performance during this month of Margazhi. The food festival is on at the Forum Vijaya Mall till December 14.
