CHENNAI: Celebrating its 25 years, Vimonisha Exhibitions — an event which brings apparel, jewellery and lifestyle products on one platform — is back with its next edition at Hyatt Regency on December 17 and 18. From modern prêt collection to traditional crafts work, vintage jewellery and home decor, the exhibition offers customers a one-stop shop for their fashion needs.

Vimonisha Private Collection, this time, will showcase the collection from the best designers across India, curated by Monisha Gidwani, CEO, Vimonisha Exhibitions, and her mother Vimal Shivdasani.

Besides checking out the collection, one can also meet and consult the designers at the event, and have unique pieces customised to their taste. The exhibition will see a wide range of sarees by Samaroho from Kolkata, prêt wear by Studio AV by Gaurav and Nitesh, Indo-Western wear by Ewa Lifestyle and Neema Lath, tweed suits and bandhgalas by Mumbai-based Aslam Khan, straight-cut tunics and suits by Studio XLNC, and anarkali, Pakistani suits and lehengas by Keiyonaa.

The exhibition will also see traditional hand weaving, hand block printing and craft techniques on contemporary designs and products by Maati Crafts. The brand is known for its range of kurtas, anarkalis, jackets, skirts in Indian prints and motifs such as ajrakh, bagru and bagh.

Designers from the South will include Sheetal Sharma, Dezires, Ana by Archana Reddy, and Sarishi to name a few. While city-based Sujatha Pai will display designs that merge the modern and vintage charm, Malayithaa Boutique from Hyderabad will showcase its festive range of sarees and chiffons, kotas and kutch work blouses.

The exhibition will see a wide range of jewellery using semi-precious stones and silver. The brands include Vasundhara Fine Jewellery from Kolkata, Diosa by Darshan Dave from Mumbai, and fashion accessories by Desi Bijouu from Mumbai.

Jewellery and clothes apart, the event will also see an interesting display of clutch bags by Arancia, home décor and cutlery by  Metal Box, framed paintings and Islamic calligraphy by Iman, besides skin treatment hampers from international cosmetic and skin treatment brands.
