CHENNAI: Rithika, a first standard student, won two silver medals at the State level Annual Roller Speed Skating competition, in the ‘below-six years girls’ category, recently. She represented Chennai District Roller Skating Association (CDRSA) in the event, which was organised by the Tamil Nadu Roller Skating Association (TNRSA).
The competition, which is held for various age categories, was conducted at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
Rithika, a student of Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School, has been undergoing roller skating training for the last three years under the guidance of N Sathyamoorthy in Sathya Speed Skating Association (SSSA Club). She had also won a silver medal and bronze medal in the Tamil Nadu State Roller Skating Championship 2013.
