CHENNAI: Day four of the Elite Super Sixes indoor cricket tournament presented by Bathcaff and co-sponsored by Jineshwar Capitals and Infra Venture at Netzz Cricket, on the roof top of Citi Centre Mall, witnessed entertaining battles between RYA Cosmo, RYA Cosmo Elite, RCC Diva and BYA, with the best team of the day pushing up the points table and the worst being further rooted near the bottom.

RYA Cosmo Elite strengthened their chances of making the knockouts as they notched three wins while losing just the one tie to move up to second place in the eight-team table, just a point behind table toppers RYA Metro.

Rakesh Nahar was their star of the day, bagging two man of the match awards in wins over BYA and Diva. Elite’s only loss came against wooden spooners Diva in their last match of the day.

The Cosmo team too did well, winning three out of four games to stay in contention for the next round. Nikhil Jain starred for them, coming up with match-winning performances against Diva in both the matches played between the two sides, and hence earning two player of the match prizes. The fifth day should be exciting with teams either consolidating their position near the top or trying to climb up the ladder.
