CHENNAI: Pointing out that the Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) provides a lot of incentives for successful agents, but many in South Zone are not aware of these incentives, Zonal Manager T Sitharthan asked agents to move aggressively towards selling more policies, at the annual club convention in Chennai on Tuesday.
The meet was held to honour 800 agents across Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Puduchery. More than 300 agents, like Coimbatore’s P Subramaniam, who had sold more than five Jeevan Shagun, a single premium policy, were rewarded at the function.
South Zone was at pole position among all zones in the country in the financial year 2013-14, M Ravichandran, regional manager (marketing) said.
