CHENNAI: Nalaiya Sigarangal celebrated the second edition of Margazhi Carnatic Isai Vizha at TAG Auditorium, Ramakrishna Hr Sec School, recently. The vizha started with A S Raman, founder of Nalaiya Sigarangal, delivering the welcome address. Prayer songs were sung by three singers, while over 13 singers rendered songs composed by renowned musicians. The singers were well supported by MSG Suresh, Pudukottai Sivaraman, Parthasarathy and Rajasekhar in violin and  Madheswaran, Pudukottai Venkatagopala Krishnan, Mahesh and Ramesh in mridhangam. The event, which was managed by Ontime Creators, saw the deputy zonal manager of Dena Bank, Raghavender, rotarian Sundararajan (Rotary Club of Nanganallur), cine and carnatic singer V V Prasanna and Lotus TV’s  programme producer Devaraj, honouring the singers. Nalaya Sigarangal’s founder S Ram announced that it is going to conduct music competition for  those between the ages five and 25 years at the same venue on December 28.
