CHENNAI: Breeze in your face. Music pumping. And a gorgeous pool on the roof. What more could you ask for on a Saturday night? The all new Aqua at The Park is just as impressive as before, but with a few additions.
For one, the space boasts of all-weather speakers making it not just a glam experience, but one that ensures you can still party by the pool when the rain gods decide to let it pour.
While we do miss the Arabic tent-like feel for a moment, the classy white lounge chairs with the occasional luxurious round bed don’t see us complaining for a moment. And if you look a little closer, there are also hanging lamps by Sahil and Sarthak and underwater lighting to accentuate the pool.
Enjoying a chill evening (literally) over bites of pizza slices doing the rounds and cocktail sips — we’ll certainly be going back, this time though with the hairband. It can get seriously windy up there!
It wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say we carried Aqua memories all the way home...leaning against the wall while waiting for the elevator, a few guests returned home with blue fingertips, thanks to a fresh coat of blue paint on the walls!
