CHENNAI: Kendriya Vidyalaya, HVF, Avadi, celebrated its golden jubilee with great pomp and splendour on the campus. A book fair and career guidance conference were conducted on December 19 and 20. The book fair was inaugurated by chief guest S M Saleem, deputy commissioner, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan Regional Office, Chennai. Vijaya Dat, joint general manager, HVF, Avadi, was the guest of honour. The welcome address was given by principal M Manickasamy. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by vice-principal E Rangaswamy. The second session commenced with the career guidance conference, inaugurated by Tamilarasi, head, Electrical Department, Murugappa Polytechnic. Over 400 students took part in the event.
