CHENNAI: At a recent talk on ‘What happens when you go online?’, Harikrishnan Srinivasan, founder of TribeNautix, had his audience in rapt attention when he revealed that users are often profiled online by search engines. “Although this is used mainly from a marketing standpoint,” he said, “people have a right to privacy, but in the larger picture of multi platform integration, one can’t escape living their life like an open book, online.” The talk was organised by the Public Relations Society of the India Chennai Chapter.
