CHENNAI: Police on Friday arrested a top executive of Sun TV over charges of sexual harassment. Praveen, the Chief Operating Officer of Sun TV, was arrested after a former woman employee filed a complaint against him.
According to sources, the woman, who had resigned a few months ago after she was transferred to Kerala, alleged that her dues have not yet been paid.
This is the second sexual harassment charge against a top employee of the Kalanithi Maran-owned channel this year after a news editor was arrested earlier this year on a complaint by a woman anchor.
