Master chefs gear up for kitchen clash

CHENNAI: The third edition of SICA Culinary Competition and Exhibition will be organised at Chennai Trade Centre from August 14-16. The event is being organised as part of the regional edition of Aadhar International Food Fair, an event supported by India Trade Promotion Organization (ITPO) and Tamil Nadu Trade Promotion Organization (TNTPO).

The three-day event will serve the finest culinary delights presented by some of the best teams from several leading hotels and restaurants in the country.

According to SICA, the culinary competition is the largest culinary competition in India and has become a sought-after event among the culinary professionals in South India.

Almost 400 chefs from hotels across the country are expected to contest in the event. General Managers, F&B Managers and Purchase Managers from top hotels and restaurants are expected to participate on all three days of the competition.

A team of WACS approved International and National jury will stringently judge the culinary skills of participants.

‘Cooking with SICA Chefs’ is an exclusive program that allows taking a closer look at some of the senior chefs live in action and another highlight will be the ‘Chefs Lounge’, which offers a dynamic platform to socially engage with master chefs. and apprentice chefs also.
