CHENNAI: The Tamil Nadu Science and Technology Centre will organise a special hands-on-activity programme for schoolchildren studying from class three and five, on July 26.
Titled ‘Blast off with Sound’, the centre has coordinated with Curio Kids company for the event. Experiments on vibrations, sound power, etc., will be conducted to enable students understand the science behind sound production and propagation.
The programme will be conducted on Saturday between 10.30 am and 12.30 pm at Periyar Science and Technology Centre, Gandhimandapam Road.
Only 30 students will be admitted on a first come first serve basis. Interested students can contact 044-24410025 for registration, said P Iyamperumal, executive director of the centre.
