CM's Solatium to Kin of Ariyalur Victims

CHENNAI: Conveying her condolences to the families of 13 passengers who were killed in a road accident in Ariyalur district on May 30, Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on Saturday granted a solatium of `1 lakh to each of the bereaved. 

Also, she granted `25,000 to each of those who suffered serious injuries and `10,000 to each of those who suffered minor injuries. In all, 23 passengers suffered injuries in the accident.

The Chief Minister has directed the district administration to provide best treatment to the injured and wished them all speedy recovery.

Besides, Jayalalithaa granted `1 lakh to each of the families of 10 persons who were electrocuted in different parts of the State recently.
