Come, learn the rules of life

CHENNAI: Averring that there is no such thing as finished-form learning and that learning is a life-long occupation, Sumit Chowdhury, author of Rules of the Game, a life-value book, released it here on May 30.

“For the first 22 years, a person studies formally, and when he enters the real world, he realises how formal learning left him underprepared, if not totally unprepared,  for future challenges. Incidentally, this happens to be the time when one is forming a career for  oneself. Rules of the Game is a guide for those who don’t know where to turn for that comforting word or cool shade in this world where everything is defined by competitive success. The trick is to look inward and draw from one’s inner resources which one is replete with,” said Chowdhury. K Suresh, president and CEO of India Cements Capital Limited, presided over the release function. The book release was hosted by the Madras Management Association at the TAG-Dakshinamurthi Auditorium, Mylapore.
