CHENNAI: A vast green lawn at VGP Resort morphed into a happening dance floor on Saturday night, with more than 1,000 heads grooving to the music by top DJs of the world at Sunburn Reload. While the gates were open for the crowd well before 4 pm, with Chennai-based DJs building the party mood, the crowd only gushed in as the night grew thicker. Speakers boomed with mind-blowing music with DJ Shaan and Canada-based DJ Arnej scratching the disc for the wild crowd. Bins filled with emptied beer glasses, humid evening drenched the laced tops and chic shirts, laser graphics blinded cloudy eyes and dancers raised their hand aiming to touch the confetti-covered sky. But they couldn’t. The clock struck 10.30 pm and the stage went empty and speakers muted. The tinted smoke disappeared leaving the crowd screaming for more. The festival was a way of enticing the crowd to go wilder in Goa Sunburn in December, leaving them wanting more. The event was organised by Percept Live, Global Sound a property of Sparkkz Event Management and Cloud 9 Entertainment.
