CHENNAI: The fifth convocation of Kilakarai Bukhari Aalim Arabic College was held recently at the Convention Centre, B S Abdur Rahman University. 73 graduates received ‘Al Aalim Al Bukhari’ Sanad (Degree) and 4 students received Hafiz (Quran Memorization) certificates.
S M M Mazahir, Dean, Faculty of Islamic Studies and Arabic Language, South Eastern University of Sri Lanka and Moulana Masood Asnavi, Founder, Jamia Arabiya Amaniyya were the chief guests. The function was presided over by Dr J A K Tareen (Padmashri), Former V C, B S Abdur Rahman University. Dr P S Syed Masood Jamali, Principal, Bukhari Aalim Arabic College welcomed the gathering and the felicitation address was given by Alhaj Ashraf Abdur Rahman Buhari, Correspondent, Bukhari Aalim Arabic College, Alhaj M K M Hasan, Treasurer, All India Islamic Foundation and Alhaj V N A Jalal, General Manager, All India Islamic Foundation.
