CHENNAI: The Computer Science department of DG Vaishnav college organised Techcraze 2K15, an inter college festival at the college premises on Monday. D Shankar, Director of Shankar IAS academy inaugurated the event, “I wish everyone all the very best and hope that you all continue to do well in life. Always keep in mind that hard work and creativity are the key to success.”
As the college turned fifty this year, several changes have been implemented in departments, “This is the first time our department of Computer Science (B Sc) has organised this fest,” said Kiran Gupta, cultural secretary of the department, “There are three streams in computer science itself MCA, BCA and B Sc. Its the first time we have organised our own fest, and we’re really happy about it.”
The fest had paper presentations on topics like cyber security, competitions like de bugging, treasure hunt, games like counter strike and need for sleep.
“I wish next year we take this fest to an all new higher level. Keep up the spirit,” said Major M Venkatramanan, Principal of DG Vaishnav College.
