CHENNAI: From this academic year on, Bharath University is introducing over 22 UG Programs BA (with 3 specialisations) BCA, BBA, B Com (with 6 specialisations), BSc (with 11 specialisations) and 22 PG programs M Com (with 2 specialisations), MSc (with 9 specialisations) MCA, MA (with 3 specialisations), MPhil in all the disciplines along with integrated MCA, MSc and MBA programs in the areas of Science and Humanities. For this purpose the University is establishing four new departments, namely, Department of Tamil, Department of Economics, Department of Visual Communication and Department of Nanotechnology.
Considering the huge demand for the above said Arts and Science courses, the University has planned to offer these courses from the academic year 2015-16 onwards.
The University is committed to offer these courses along with skill based components in collaboration with Industrial partners, preparing the students employable.
M Ponnavaikko is the Vice-Chancellor, Bharath University. The varsity has been offering academic programs from undergraduate level till Post Doctoral level in the faculties of Engineering, Medicine, Dental, Nursing, Physiotherapy and Management for over 32 years, meeting the needs of the students from around the world.
