CHENNAI:  The students of ITM Business School spent the weekend with people at a flood relief camp in the slums of Semmanchery. Apart from distributing food and clothes to 150 flood-affected people, the students interacted with them for three hours.” It was a great practical experience for the students. When they interacted with the affected people they got to understand the severity of the disaster and the importance of crisis management. We enjoyed rendering this small service to the needy, and this gave the students utmost satisfaction,” said Gayathri Abhishek, a lecturer at ITM Business School. The students also advised the people to pay attention to their hygiene and sanitation in waterlogged areas.
