CHENNAI: State PWD Minister O Panneerselvam on Sunday inspected the bridges in Tiruvallur district that were damaged by the recent floods and distributed relief materials to people staying in flood relief camps.
An official press release here said the minister distributed the relief materials at the camps in Kanagamachathiram, Thirupachur, Venmanaputhur and Kumarachery and gave ‘nilavembu’ kashayam to the inmates of Venmanaputhur camp. He also inspected the paddy fields at Ilanchery taluk in Tiruvallur district.
