Over 9,000 Food Packets Air-dropped

CHENNAI: HMIF, the CSR arm of Hyundai Motor India limited, handed out over 5,000 food packets on Friday and 6,000 food packets on Saturday to the flood-relief teams set-up by the TN government, a release said. The food was airdropped in-and-around Chennai by Air Force personnel.The company intends to continur its relief measures till December 14. Ettikuthimedu, Akkamapuram, Vellarai, KK Nagar, Kaduvancery of the Sriperumbudur block. HMIL volunteers with representatives from HMIF, UUHE (United Union of Hyundai Employees) handed over these items to 500 flood-affected families in the presence of the local government officials and respective panchayat presidents.
