'My Thoughts Are Always With You', Jayalalithaa Tells Flood-hit People

CHENNAI: Thanking everyone engaged in rescue and relief works in areas affected by floods, Chief Minister and AIADMK general secretary J Jayalalithaa on Tuesday told the people affected by the floods : "Don't worry. I will be with you and my thoughts are always with you."

Stating that the AIADMK MLAs and MPs would be donating their one month salary towards the relief and restoration works in the flood-affected areas, Jayalalithaa said the party cadre had been actively engaged in helping the people in distress in flood-affected areas.  

"People from all sections of the society have been extending financial assistance to help the people affected by the unprecedented rains and floods which had caused huge losses in Tamil Nadu.  And many others have physically engaged themselves in rescue and relief operations. I commend the service of all and thank them", the AIADMK chief said.

Jayalalithaa further said the government headed by her had been making all out efforts to help the people affected by the floods in restarting their lives.
