Showcasing Technical Talent

CHENNAI: B S Abdur Rahman University, Vandalur, organised an ‘Open House and Exhibition’ in commemoration of the celebration of 31 years of technical education here recently. The two-day exhibition showcased technological developments in science, engineering and technology, and provided exposure to various branches of engineering. All-terrain vehicles, cars, robots for military and industrial applications, house automation systems and power generation systems, designed by the college students were on display. The exhibition included presentations by students, elaborating the scope, potential and opportunities in different branches of engineering. The exhibition, which was open to the public, has around 4,000 visitors including parents, teachers and students.
