CHENNAI:A junior television actor has filed a complaint with the city cyber cell alleging that her photos were morphed to create obscene pictures and uploaded on the social networking website, moving her to depression and suicidal tendencies.

Lavanya-Kumar.jpgIn a complaint filed with the Commissioner of Chennai police,  Lavanya Kumar (30) said that her pictures have been posted to the facebook id ‘Deepika Deepika’ which received many ‘likes’ and unwanted comments.

“Seeing that I was depressed and tried to commit suicide, but my husband consoled and supported me,” Lavanya said.

She claimed this had happened earlier in October 2014 after which she had filed a similar complaint. She requested the police to block the id and take action against the person behind it.
