CHENNAI:The Director of Matriculation Schools and Principal Information Officer for RTE Act directed Education Department to ensure that all private non-minority unaided schools adhered to the RTE admission guidelines of the government, without fail, to achieve 100 per cent target this current academic year. An official release said the distribution of application forms for 25 per cent reservation under the RTE Act to students from disadvantaged groups and weaker sections should begin on May 4. The filled-in applications should be submitted on May 19.
