CHENNAI: Sri Matha Cancer Care, a charitable trust, celebrated its second anniversary recently at Dr MGR Janaki College of Arts and Science for Women. As part of the event, the book Henceforth a painless journey authored by D Vijayasree Mahadevan was launched. Former chief election commissioner N Gopalaswami presided over the function and released the book. The first, second and third copies were received by V Krishnamoorthy, managing trustee of Sri Matha Cancer Care, V Durai, manager and Mathurabarathy, editor of Thendral magazine, respectively. Dr D Vijayshree welcomed the gathering, and the vote of thanks was given by R Mahadevan, coordinator of the Trust.
