CHENNAI: The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan, (MEXT) is offering scholarships to international students, who wish to study in Japan at a Specialised Training College and a College of Technology. The scholarships will be offered for three, four and five year courses beginning from April 2016. Some of the fields that will be covered in the courses are technology, personal care and nutrition, education and welfare, business, fashion and home economics, culture and general education among other fields. The candidates have to attend an examination, which will be conducted at the Consulate-General of Japan, Chennai. The application form can be obtained from the Consulate-General of Japan.
