Six Bullets Found in Tambaram Railway Station

CHENNAI: In a shocking incident, a leather pouch containing six  .32 calibre bullets were discovered in the waiting room of the Tambaram railway station on Sunday afternoon by a sweeper cleaning the place. The bullets, which were tucked neatly inside a brown pouch, were handed over to the Railway Protection Force (RPF), which then forwarded the case to the Government Railway Police.

Since the waiting hall is situated before the metal detector at the station, it was not possible to find out who it belonged to, security personnel said.

It is likely that someone may have left it at the station by mistake, they said.
