Bringing creativity in the field of fashion among its students, International Institute of Fashion Design (INIFD) launched the Creative Quotient DIY workshop on Monday. While one is aware of the term intelligence quotient (IQ), the faculty says that there is something called creative quotient, which is inherent in most of us.
The workshop is being conducted during summer vacation timee as it will be a stressbuster, apart from one’s busy academic schedule. Farida Khan, director of INIFD, says,”Creativity is very important for development, esprcially for designers. It is the ideation of what you want to do next.”
Students who have completed their Class 12 and college students who are interested in fashion and designing took part in the workshop. The participants came up with colourful creations using quilling paper such as cards, frames and other material at the event, and were trained by Christina Rajathu, a faculty member at INIFD.
INIFD in association with Annamalai University will be offering diploma and postgraduate courses in fashion designing and interior designing for which admissions are open.
